Simone - Down to one!
Hi guys! This week was a pretty big milestone in my scientific journey, because I chose which idea I’ll pursue for the rest of the summer and present in Minnesota. The hardest part for me was letting go of ideas I don’t have the resources, time, or money to complete.
Although I may not be able to pursue my puppy printing machine, I’m confident in the path I’m taking, and I know my mentor will be there to help me along the way. It’s such a great feeling knowing that if I have any questions, my mentor is able to connect with dozens of 3M scientists!
I’m at a very exciting point in the scientific process, because all I have is an idea, but I can see all of the pieces starting to come together. There are so many things to order, wires to solder, and snack breaks to take!
I can confidently say that nothing, even on the deep dark web, even resembles my invention. I’ll leave you with that to ponder. Check back weekly for more blog posts, and if you haven’t already, check out my death-ray-cleverly-disguised-as-a-tennis-racquet in my submission video!
Have a great week, and keep inventing!
