Godfrey has designed, implemented and coordinated and facilitated numerous professional development sessions, as well as professional learning communities, focused on best practices for improving 21st Century teaching and learning within STEM education.

Meet Godfrey Rangasammy. Godfrey Rangasammy is the PreK-12 Science Curriculum Supervisor for the Prince George’s County Public Schools, In Maryland. He also serves as a STEM collaborator for PGCPS. In his career with Prince George’s County Public Schools, he has taught high school science including Biology and Chemistry and AP Chemistry. He was also a Physical Science Adjunct professor for over a decade at Bowie, State University, in Prince Georges County, Maryland. Godfrey has designed, implemented and coordinated and facilitated numerous professional development sessions, as well as professional learning communities, focused on best practices for improving 21st Century teaching and learning within STEM education that supports Next Generation Of Science Standards and College and Career Readiness Standards.

Godfrey has a B.S. in Biology and Chemistry and M.S in K-12 Science Education from Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia. He is currently a Doctoral Educational Leadership candidate at the University Of Maryland. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He is an avid international sports fan who follows cricket, rugby soccer, football, tennis, basketball and golf. He continues to change the world through his STEAM Connections to evolving technologies.
