Tip Tuesday: Creating Your Video!

Ready to Share Your Big Idea? It’s the content that counts.

Once you’re ready to share your big idea for the 3M Young Scientist Challenge, the filming will be a piece of cake. Your entry video does not need to look like a professional film production. As long as we can see you, hear you, and understand you, you’re all set!

Smart phones, tablets, laptops, and computers can all record video. If a friend or family member can lend a hand, ask them to help you film your entry. If not, find a place to prop your device, and then press play/stop yourself! Once your entry is recorded, there are plenty of free editing apps specially designed to give videos a little extra flair if you want to have some fun.
