Laalitya - Ready for the Challenge!
Hello fellow scientists!
Its so hard to believe that my journey is now so close to being over, my innovation has been completed and it is now time to put the finishing tweaks on my presentation! The past few months have been truly some of the best!! I can still remember the moment my innovation worked and that feeling was just so awesome! Its truly a wonderful moment to think that something you have created has worked and can help the world if implemented!
The final event is also very close now and I am so excited to be able to go to the 3M innovation center, meet my mentor in person and meet my fellow finalists. It is going to be amazing to meet other kids who are just as passionate about STEM as I am! Words can’t describe how it is so hard to wait (my personal countdown to the event has officially started)! I am also very much looking forward to presenting my innovation to you!
Along the way, of creating my innovation, I have also learned so many skills. Skills that I am sure will help me in the future, as I advance through my high school career, college career and profession. This entire event was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and it has been surreal to work with an actual scientist and bring a new innovation to life!
Attached below in my final video blog are just my final thoughts on this entire experience. It has been so life changing and I encourage everyone to submit a video for next year!
I am very much thankful to:
3M & Discovery Education for this wonderful once-in-a-lifetime opportunity...
My family for always supporting me...
My mentor, Dr. Alireza Asgari, for all the guidance, support and feedback during this entire process - not to mention suggesting and sourcing, relevant 3M products (Thank you so much for this!!!)
And you, my readers, who have followed me through this journey.
I thank you all, and hope to see you soon!
Tune in for final presentations on October 17 at 3PM EST!
Signing off for the last time
