Meet Amelia. To help the visual and hearing impaired along with the injured, Amelia's invention aims to improve accuracy of kicking a soccer ball using sensory feedback using a light and sound based system. Amelia hopes that her invention will help people's physical capabilities around the world both now and in the future.
Why did you enter the Young Scientist Challenge?
I entered the Young Scientist Challenge, so that I will be able to get more publicity for this helpful innovation and more funding so that I can get a patent and help more people in the fields of physical and occupational therapy
What is your favorite invention of the last 100 years, and why?
My favorite invention of the last 100 years is penicillin, because it has helped to treat many different dangerous infections, and has opened the door for a new train of thought on how to combat diseases and medical issues.

In 15 years, I hope to be a singer/songwriter and a Neural or Mechanical Engineer.
