Why did you enter the Young Scientist Challenge?
I entered the Young Scientists Challenge mostly looking to push my own personal interests into something more socially impactful. The Young Scientists Challenge proved to be a perfect opportunity that not only gave me a reason why, but also a platform from which to spring my ideas.
What is your favorite invention of the last 100 years, and why?
Being very passionate about computer science and machine learning I'm consistently inspired by the attempts by Google's smaller projects run by its Creative Lab that look to broaden the use of autonomous and intelligent software in day-to-day interactions.
In 15 years I hope to be...
An entrepreneur consistently looking to make a positive social impact on those around him.
I personally love science for the breadth and diversity of it's applicability. As a study of the world around us, science provides a systematic and practical means of obtaining insight and solutions to almost any question we may come to ask.
